Job Description

The Talent & Culture Coordinator is accountable for implementing initiatives, to promote an inclusive environment within Aramark Canada in alignment with our goals and values. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of how to promote inclusion & cultural awareness within an organization throughout the entire talent life cycle, and be able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners and Business leaders to achieve this goal.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports the administration of current inclusive training offerings aligned with Aramark’s global leadership capabilities and skills, identifies relevant educational content, in partnership with our Learning & Development team, and supports the deployment and measurement of training offerings specific to fair employment and inclusive operational practices.
  • Collaborates directly with multiple lines of business and corporate functional teams to implement strategies that embed inclusive practices into all that we do especially our people, growth, and community priorities. 
  • Collaborates with Talent Acquisition to maintain a diverse external partnership to enhance our inclusive recruitment practices.
  • This role supports the work of the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in areas such as recruitment, professional development, membership engagement, and business alignment.  
  • Enhances collaboration across ERGs focused on intersectionality, leveraging resources, quality and intentionality in programing and events, and supporting the overall people and business needs of Aramark. Support professional development within ERGs ie networking, mentorship, sponsorship, community engagement, and business support.  
  • Supports business units and other stakeholders in creating RFP submissions and client business reviews aligned with our people priorities.
  • Supports with content associated with Aramark’s sustainability "Be Well Do Well" strategy, archives quarterly accomplishments used for supporting investor relations communications.
  • Content owner on the internal myAramark Intranet site as well as Aramark.ca as it relates to to cultural diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop content for internal newsletters

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience.
• Experience as a cultural awareness & inclusion practitioner with demonstrated business results working with employee networks.
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity with a focus on intersectionality: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation and other differences that make us unique.
• Fosters teamwork and collaboration across a wide range of teams.
• Forward-thinking, detailed-oriented, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft , Smartsheet, Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong project management skills to handle complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work well under pressure, with proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information.
• Ability to works across different functions and build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
