Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst will join the Supply Chain Program Management team, focusing on contract support. The candidate will need to understand the Managed Service and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) businesses to interpret and support processes and analytics. The Supply Chain Analyst will utilize their analytical and critical thinking ability to help drive value for both our clients and suppliers. The individual should be a self-starter who can navigate internal and external stakeholders and build collaborative relationships. 

The position will report to the Supply Chain Manager and is based out of our Mississauga head office, where we are currently working in a hybrid model.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead analyst for all RFP analytics, evaluating bid responses, and completing scorecards.
  • Create and implement reporting for key clients that will drive purchasing behaviour and value to clients.
  • Build and oversee new processes related to compliance monitoring to contracts.
  • Administer programs that will drive commitment to contracts, working closely with Account Management on client requests and the associated analytics and reporting.
  • Behave as subject matter expert on Aramark’s RFP process.
  • Prepare, manipulate, and assess data quality to produce accurate data sets.
  • Provide intelligence to the Procurement team contributing to category market strategies.
  • Manage and track key milestones to ensure internal and external stakeholders are aligned and informed.
  • Oversee pricing update process and communication to external stakeholders.
  • Understand at a high level the food and non-food categories we procure and the supplier base. 
  • Complete market baskets for competitive review for new or existing clients.
  • Provide ad hoc analytical support and reports to support the entire Supply Chain team.
  • Challenge current processes, systems, and tools to identify and implement opportunities for improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College diploma - Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an analytical role
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Results oriented, self-starter who can adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate issues, analysis, and solutions.
  • Ability to understand processes and their impact within the organization.
  • Critical thinker who is inquisitive and seeks to find solutions and make recommendations.
  • Solid organization skills and attention to detail.
