Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Accurately quote, process, and manage purchase orders for the replenishment of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop and deliver reporting, dashboards, and insights to inform category management, account management, and leadership decision-making.
- Forecasting & Demand Planning: Support initiatives with procurement and finance teams to forecast demand, monitor capital replenishment cycles, and align with budget planning.
- Supplier Performance Management: Track, analyze, and report supplier KPIs, escalating service-level gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with suppliers to facilitate order fulfillment, resolve delivery issues, and ensure timely shipment of goods.
- Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline order-to-fulfillment workflows, applying continuous improvement methodologies.
- Cross-Functional & Client Liaison: Serve as a liaison with Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Account Management teams to align operational execution with client requirements and strengthen customer relationships.
- Technology & Systems: Support ERP/CRM system enhancements and leverage BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to advance analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit standards, and capital expenditure governance frameworks.
- Supplier & Customer Engagement: Coordinate supplier and customer participation in trade shows, product showcases, and promotional events, ensuring operational alignment with commercial objectives.
- Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Partner with internal Sales and Marketing teams to support go-to-market initiatives, align replenishment programs with promotional campaigns, and ensure consistent brand and customer experience.
- Project Support: Contribute to special initiatives such as supplier transitions, sourcing events, and investment planning reviews.
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide onboarding support, create reference guides, and share best practices to enhance overall team capability.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline (preferred).
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement operations, or sales & operations planning.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French preferred to support national account management and customer-facing interactions.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to generate insights from large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience managing supplier relationships and influencing outcomes through KPI tracking and performance management.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of balancing transactional accuracy with strategic process improvement and value creation.
