Job Description
Come join the team at Aramark Supply Chain. Work with a talented and driven group of purchasing professionals. You will interact directly with national vendors on securing & negotiating the right product at the right price for our Breads, Baked Goods & Pasta categories. You will be reporting into the Procurement Director for Supply Chain.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead category management and strategy for diverse lines of business across the Canadian organization. Including Aramark managed services and General Purchasing Organizations.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to address business needs, growth opportunities, and partner on category development & execution.
- Preparation and analysis of detailed financial proposals to make informed decisions and recommendations to the business.
- Drafting supply agreements and legal documents for contract renewals, RFPs, and other critical initiatives.
- Coordinate pricing of products on a national basis.
- Operational support for category knowledge and responsibilities.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders in various departments including finance, marketing, account management, sustainability, and global teams.
- Other duties that may be assigned by your immediate supervisor from time to time based on business needs.

Qualifications
- Preferably, a college or university graduate with proven problem-solving, analytical skills or finance/accounting experience.
- Minimum of 1 -2 years of experience in a food service/food retail/food supplier/food distribution environment, preferably in a multi-unit organization.
- Supply chain and procurement experience is an asset.
- Strong PC data manipulation skills with emphasis on advanced Excel.
- Confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, and interest in developing strong negotiation abilities.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with distributors and suppliers (written & verbal).
- Must be able to work independently and be detail oriented with ability to demonstrate problem solving skill sets.
