Job Profile Summary
As the Manager of Internal Communications and Employer Branding at Aramark, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our people connect with our purpose, culture, and values. This newly created position is an exciting opportunity to build something impactful from the ground up—bringing fresh energy and strategic focus to how we engage employees and present our brand to the world.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will be a trusted communications advisor and creative storyteller. You’ll craft compelling, consistent messaging that aligns with leadership’s vision and resonates across all levels of the organization—from our corporate teams to our frontline heroes. Your work will help unify our voice, strengthen our culture, and elevate Aramark’s reputation as an employer of choice.
This role is especially exciting because it bridges internal and external communications—giving you the opportunity to shape not only how we speak to our employees, but also how we present our brand to prospective talent and the broader public. You’ll lead the development of engaging content, support high-impact events like quarterly town halls, and help standardize communication practices that drive clarity, connection, and pride across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
Internal Communications:
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, motivated and engaged while building advocacy for our company.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to craft clear communication with messages that align with the leadership team's vision and strategic goals.
- Create visually appealing and engaging content for various internal communication channels.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, executive communications, and other materials that reflect the leadership team’s vision and messaging.
- Use multiple delivery methods that engage multiple generational and demographic groups.
- Develop and implement communications to support HR policies and programs.
- Proactively gather feedback from key stakeholders to address concerns and improve communication processes, to enhance user experience.
Employer Branding:
- Develop and execute employer branding strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Build brand awareness by collaborating with leadership, HR and Marketing teams to collect employer brand stories and creating visually compelling external content, showcasing the company culture, values, and employee experiences including social media, website, blogs, videos, testimonials and recruitment materials.
- Identify and lead the content generation for top employer award applications.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistency between internal and external messaging, aligning the employer brand with client and customer communications.
- Manage the company’s presence on employer review sites and social media platforms, ensuring alignment the employer brand message.
- Manage HR updates on the internal myAramark site as well as the Aramark Career Site, Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn
- Assist in planning and executing internal events, such as town halls, leadership summits, and employee engagement activities, ensuring they align with messaging and company culture.
- Partner with Aramark’s Community Relations Team in the US to manage the continued brand development of Aramark Building Community to ensure consistency and effectively strengthen brand and engagement.
- Track and analyze key metrics related to employer branding efforts and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact, incorporating metric-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Candidates who are bilingual in both French and English would be preferred.
- Minimum 5- years of experience in internal communications, employer branding.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in executive-level messaging.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with digital communication platforms and social media management.
- Design Expertise: Proficient knowledge in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Constant Contact, Google Workplace with a demonstrated ability to create visually compelling communication materials. Experience in multimedia design is a plus.
- Video creation and editing skills an asset
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate environment
- Strong collaboration skills
