Job Description

The Manager, Insights & Marketing Promotions leads the planning, development, and execution of national marketing programs and consumer insights initiatives that enhance the guest experience, increase consumer engagement, and contribute to profitable business growth across retail, residence dining, healthcare, and catering channels. Responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing platforms, promotional programs, digital content, and consumer research activities while collaborating closely with Culinary, Operations, Supply Chain, and channel strategy teams. Leverages consumer insights, industry trends, and marketing best practices to deliver impactful campaigns, improve program performance, and support informed business decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Program Development & Execution (30%)

  • Leads the planning and execution of national marketing campaigns, consumer promotions, limited-time offers, digital initiatives, and consumer engagement programs across Aramark Canada business channels.
  • Coordinates campaign development and implementation, including timelines, creative development, production, printing, distribution, and promotional tracking.
  • Provides strategic direction and collaborates with culinary, operations, channel strategy, supply chain, and field marketing teams to ensure consistent program execution.

 

Consumer Insights & Analytics (30%)

  • Administers consumer feedback and research programs, including Voice of the Consumer, Napkin Talk, Patient/Resident Connect, Dining Styles, and custom survey initiatives. Oversees survey deployment, response monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder communication to support continuous improvement.
  • Prepares and interprets dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Leads field marketing teams in translating insights into actionable plans and ensures accountability for performance improvements.
  • Partners with Operations and the Enterprise and International Consumer Insights teams to drive consumer engagement and generate meaningful insights into satisfaction and preferences.

 

Vendor Partner Marketing (15%)

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and strategic partners to support the successful execution of marketing and consumer insights programs while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand standards.
  • Provides strategic direction for supplier marketing initiatives, product launches, promotional activations, and annual marketing planning.
  • Tracks marketing fund utilization, prepares supporting documentation, and holds suppliers accountable for funding commitments, program execution, and return on investment.
  • Leads effective partnerships with suppliers and agencies.

 

Beverage, Merchandising & Retail (15%)

  • Leads beverage, consumer packaged goods, merchandising, planogram, packaging, equipment, and promotional programs.
  • Provides strategic direction for proprietary brand development initiatives and retail marketing resources, including hot and cold beverage programs informed by consumer insights.
  • Administers merchandising standards and develops field-facing implementation materials.

 

Project Management (10%)

  • Manages cross-functional teams on marketing-related initiatives, including capital and renovation projects requiring marketing support.
  • Leads the coordination of project timelines, deliverables, stakeholder communications, presentation materials, and project reporting to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Food & Nutrition, Business, Communications, or related field.

 

Experience

  • 3–5 years of marketing, insights, communications, retail, hospitality, or related experience.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting consumer data.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and cross-functional projects.
  • Experience working with external agencies, research providers, or supplier partners considered an asset.

 

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience creating presentations and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of consumer insights, survey tools, and market research methodologies considered an asset.

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.
