Job Description
The Digital Communications & Design Coordinator supports the creation and delivery of engaging digital content, visual communications, and employer branding initiatives across Aramark Canada. Reporting to the Manager, Internal Communications & Employer Brand, this role supports social media management, graphic design, website content, employee communications, recruitment marketing initiatives, and multimedia storytelling, with a strong focus on creating visually engaging content that strengthens Aramark Canada's employer brand.
The successful candidate will help bring Aramark Canada's people, culture, and brand to life through engaging storytelling, visual communications, and digital content that supports employee engagement, talent attraction, and business priorities. This role is ideal for an early-career communications or design professional who is passionate about social media, content creation, visual storytelling, and employee engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content (40%)
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Create and curate engaging content that highlights Aramark Canada's people, culture, career opportunities, community involvement, and business initiatives.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing campaigns through content creation and promotion.
- Capture and organize employee stories, photos, videos, and testimonials for use across digital channels.
- Monitor social media activity and performance metrics and provide insights to support continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on social media and content trends to help keep content fresh and engaging.
Design & Creative Support (30%)
- Create graphics and visual assets for social media, presentations, newsletters, events, websites, recruitment campaigns, and internal communications.
- Create branded templates, infographics, digital signage, and promotional materials that align with Aramark brand standards.
- Support photography, video editing, and multimedia content creation projects.
- Ensure all materials align with Aramark brand standards and visual guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining creative asset libraries and brand resources.
Website & Content Management (15%)
- Support updates to Aramark Canada's careers website and other digital communication platforms.
- Compose and maintain blog posts, employee spotlights, success stories, and recruitment marketing content.
- Help maintain accurate, relevant, and engaging website content.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and update content as required.
Employee Communications & Engagement (15%)
- Assist with employee newsletters, announcements, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
- Support communications related to recognition programs, culture initiatives, and company events.
- Provide content and design support for internal communication projects.
- Assist with logistics and creative materials for employee engagement activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in communications, digital content creation, social media, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
- Co-op, internship, freelance, volunteer, or project-based experience will be considered.
Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrated graphic design and visual communication skills, with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Excellent written communication and proofreading abilities.
- Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.
- Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, or similar tools) is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of website content management systems is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and design.
- Photography, videography, and video editing experience are considered assets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingualism (English and French) is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts.
- Experience creating video and multimedia content.
- Interest in communications, employer branding, design, and employee experience.

The pay range for this position is $55,000.00 - $65,000.00.
