Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Bilingual Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and expand client relationships across Canada. In this role, you will identify and develop sales opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract close, and build strong partnerships with key decision-makers. Working closely with marketing, operations, and finance, you will develop tailored solutions, deliver compelling presentations, negotiate contracts, and support successful client onboarding. The ideal candidate is a proactive, customer-focused sales professional with strong prospecting, relationship-building, and business development expertise in a B2B environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and generate new leads through outreach, building relationships with key accounts internally, networking, referrals, and digital channels.
  • Build and manage a strong, multi-stage pipeline of qualified opportunities in CRM, maintaining accurate stage-gating and clear next steps.
  • Conduct discovery/needs-analysis meetings and deliver tailored, value-based presentations that map directly to client priorities and pain points.
  • Prepare and issue quotations; coordinate revisions, internal approvals, and follow-through to signature within defined SLAs.
  • Support PO creation, contract execution, and client onboarding to ensure accurate and timely launches.
  • Develop and execute social media and digital content strategies (organic and paid) to attract, nurture, and convert prospects.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to shape proposals, handle invoicing discrepancies & deposits, pricing strategy, and client-facing collateral.
  • Represent Aramark at targeted industry events, trade shows, and associations to build brand visibility and expand network reach.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts, weekly pipeline reviews, and funnel-conversion metrics tied to KPIs/OKRs.
  • Close new business consistently by applying disciplined sales habits, structured follow-up cadences, and deal-qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT/MEDDIC).
  • Track and analyze win/loss trends, churn risk, and competitor positioning to refine go-to-market and account-based strategies.
  • Partner with marketing on demand-generation campaigns and lead-nurturing workflows to keep the top-of-funnel healthy.
  • Map key stakeholders and decision-making units (DMUs) within target accounts to navigate complex, multi-touch B2B sales cycles.
  • Lead contract negotiations and deal structuring, balancing margin protection with client value proposition.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and sales-ops discipline to support accurate territory and account planning.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to grow share-of-wallet and drive account expansion.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and support bid-management processes, coordinating internal SMEs to deliver competitive proposals.
  • Stay current on market intelligence, industry trends, and competitor offerings to sharpen positioning and differentiation.
  • Own and project-manage strategic customer initiatives end-to-end, in alignment with leadership priorities, from requirements gathering and needs analysis through quotations, order management, and after-sales support.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for strategic accounts, driving deeper client engagement and ensuring seamless execution across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual – English & French (written and verbal).
  • 5+ years of business development, account management or sales experience in B2B services preferably.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation and building pipeline independently.
  • Strong knowledge of digital channels, especially LinkedIn and social media, for prospecting.
  • Experience preparing quotes, managing purchase orders, and coordinating client onboarding.
  • Skilled at presentations, negotiations, and building relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and disciplined in tracking activities.
  • Results-driven with a structured approach to prospecting, follow-up, and closing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage multi-stakeholder decision groups.
  • Knowledge of foodservice, facilities, healthcare, education, or hospitality sectors considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of consultative/solution-selling methodologies (e.g., Challenger, SPIN, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through contract close in a B2B environment.
