Job Description
Aramark is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Cook to join its food service team at Bell Helicopter in Mirabel.
Position: Lead Cook
Location: Bell Helicopter (12800 rue de l'Avenir, Mirabel, QC J7J 1R4)
Salary: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Start Date: Immediate
- A personal vehicle is required to travel to the Bell Helicopter site.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef in planning and preparing the daily menu
- Cook and prepare a variety of food items following standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Perform cooking and finishing dishes according to established quality standards
- Actively participate in daily food service operations
- Deliver a professional, timely, and personalized service while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Demonstrate creativity while meeting client needs and expectations
- Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction
- Optimize food costs and labor utilization
- Ensure compliance with all management, health, food safety, and sanitation programs, policies, and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the quality of services provided
- Participate in inventory counts and stock control
- Supervise and support employees in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Respond to operational needs and contribute to the smooth operation of the food service department
- Participating in catering events as required; catering experience is considered an asset
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in food service or restaurant industry
- A diploma in Restaurant Management, Dietetic Technology, or a Professional Cooking program is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work with accuracy, organization, and autonomy
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle
