Aramark is currently seeking a Cook for the food service operation at Airbus in Mirabel

POSITION: Cook

LOCATION: Airbus Mirabel (13100 Henri-Fabre Blvd., Mirabel, QC J7N 3C6)

WAGE: $23.24/hour

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

START DATE: Immediate

Closed for one week during the Christmas holiday period. Paid holidays and unused vacation time are also paid out.
(As per the collective agreement)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Experience in catering food preparation is considered an asset
• Complete all mise en place tasks
• Ensure prescribed quantities are respected and that food quality meets Aramark standards
• Ensure compliance with management, health, food hygiene, and food safety programs
• Participate in food service operations
• Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service
• Follow all established safety policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Positive and professional attitude
• Customer service oriented
• Must have a vehicle to travel to Airbus

A successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and pass a criminal background check and a Vulnerable Sector Check (where required by the operation). If hired, employment with Aramark will be conditional upon Aramark's satisfaction with the results of these checks.
