Job Description
Aramark is recruiting an experienced Nutrition Manager to manage the resident food services for a long-term care facility in Markham, ON. The Nutrition Manager plans, coordinates and manages all resident nutrition care activities while complying with the standards established by Aramark, regulatory agencies and the Clients.

Job Responsibilities
• Establishes and maintains policies, standards and programs for the provision of optimal, cost-effective nutrition care to residents.
• Coordinates and directs all clinical activities and determines and implements appropriate staffing levels
• Develops goals and objectives for clinical nutrition to maintain high-quality care
• Utilizes equipment, resources, and programs to provide efficient and high-quality care
• Experience managing in a unionized environment is required
• Assists in the performance planning process for staff members
• Participates in the budget process
• Adopts activities appropriate to the specific needs of the resident population
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other facility departments to provide a unified approach to resident care

Qualifications
• Must be an active member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM)
• Must be a graduate of the Food and Nutrition Management program or related degree
• Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Nutrition Manager in a long-term setting
• Experience managing budgets, inventory, ordering, recruiting, hiring and staff training
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff, management, residents and Client

The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
