As a Dietary Aide, you will have the important tasks of taking resident orders, serving residents, washing dishes, cleaning and resetting dining rooms, as well as other tasks.  The best part?  It's just the starting point of your career, so launch your future with us!

Upon hiring, a VSS is required.     Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

•    Function comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
•    Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, residents, clients, co-workers, etc.
•    Adaptable to customer needs.
•    Ensures guest satisfaction by serving meals and maintaining cleanliness of dining rooms and all areas.
•    Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper fod safety and sanitation.
•    Works closely with Hospitality Manager, supervisors and kitchen team to ensure a smooth meal service.
•    Maintains the privacy, safety, and dignity of each customer by observing client confidentiality and by closely adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
•    Maintains compliance with ARAMARK’s standards of operation. Adheres to ARAMARK’s Business Conduct Policy at all times. Maintains all records and reports to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

Qualifications

•    Demonstrates an understanding of basic serving, cleaning and sanitation procedures.
•    Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
•    Needs to communicate fluently in the English language.
•    Must have the ability to work as a team and independently, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
•    Must be flexible and adaptable to change, and also must be available to work flexibe hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.  This role also includes usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
