About Working in Remote Camps
- Our camps are located in remote areas and staff live on-site on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled breaks.
- Most of our LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation, ensuite or shared bathroom, full meals, WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff.
- Camp staff work long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12 hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply.
- Health and Safety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working together at LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and require pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of our camps to keep our guests happy and healthy. They must be able to work diligently and under pressure.
About the Job, Benefits and Perks
- TERM position starting August 8th to September 4, 2026
- Wages starting between $18.47 to $21.55 per hour
- Overtime pay
- Schedule: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on operational needs
- Travel Subsidy may be available for inbound and outbound travel
- Meals and accommodation while working on site
- Partial uniform is provided
Camp Location
This camp is remote and located in Lytton, BC. Our team organizes all logistics and travel for employees to get to and from camp.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide first-class customer service
- Make beds, change linens, comforters and towels
- Remove garbage and dust shelving
- Sweep and vacuum the mudroom, hallway, and entranceways
- Check inbound and outbound guest lists for room changeover. Report changes and cleaned items
- Ensure bathrooms are cleaned each day (floors, toilets, shower stalls, sinks, and mirrors)
- Replenish toilet paper, paper towels and soap
- Keep the laundry room tidy; dust and sweep daily, mop every other day
- Keep linen storage clean and organized
- This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
- This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years housekeeping experience
- Strong communication skills. Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Team player and can provide support, motivation, and encouragement to others
- Excellent attention to detail and well-developed organization skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
- Always maintain a professional appearance
- Works safely and responsibly

- Valid Government Issued ID for travel if required
