Operations Manager, Environmental Services (Healthcare)

 

Aramark is growing in Southern Alberta, and we’re looking for experienced healthcare operations leaders to grow with us.


As we continue to strengthen our healthcare operations in the Lethbridge region, we’re looking to connect with experienced Environmental Services leaders who understand the unique demands of acute healthcare environments.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who knows healthcare cleaning, enjoys leading frontline teams, and understands that great Environmental Services operations play an important role in creating safe, clean and welcoming environments for patients, visitors and healthcare teams.

 

What You’ll Do


•    Lead day-to-day Environmental Services operations within a healthcare environment
•    Provide hands-on leadership, coaching and support to supervisors and frontline EVS teams
•    Coordinate staffing, scheduling, workloads and daily operational priorities
•    Maintain high standards for healthcare cleaning, sanitation, quality and safety
•    Monitor service delivery, identify opportunities for improvement and help implement solutions
•    Build positive working relationships with healthcare teams and client stakeholders
•    Support infection prevention practices and established healthcare cleaning protocols
•    Monitor labour, supplies and operational performance
•    Promote employee engagement, accountability and a strong service culture
•    Ensure compliance with applicable Aramark, client, safety and regulatory requirements

 

What We’re Looking For


•    Environmental Services leadership experience within acute healthcare or a similarly complex healthcare environment
•    Experience leading and developing frontline cleaning/EVS teams
•    Strong understanding of healthcare cleaning practices, infection prevention principles and quality standards
•    Experience managing staffing, scheduling, labour and day-to-day operational performance
•    Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
•    Ability to build effective relationships with employees, healthcare teams and client stakeholders
•    A visible, hands-on leadership style and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
•    Familiarity with Infection Prevention standards, healthcare quality auditing and systems supporting patient flow would be an asset

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $75,000.00.
