Job Description

Aramark is currently seeking a Cook to join the Food Services team at Roche Diagnostics in Laval.

Position: Cook

Location: Roche (201 Armand-Frappier Blvd, Laval, QC H7V 4A2)

Wage: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule / Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare daily menu items according to established standards.
• Perform cooking, assembly, and finishing of menu items.
• Participate in food service and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the cash register as required.
• Assist with dishwashing duties and maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
• Ensure food quality standards are met and contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Help optimize food and labor costs.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and programs related to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and operational management.
• Receive, store, and rotate inventory and food products.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
• Collaborate with the manager to support the smooth operation of daily activities.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food services or restaurant industry is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established procedures.
• MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certification is an asset.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, integrity, and sound judgment.
• Customer service oriented.
• Bilingualism is an asset, as some of our customers are English-speaking.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by the operation).
