Job Description
The Administrative Support Worker is responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, ordering, data entry, filing, etc. The Administrative Support Worker will be required to work well with customers, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for performing administrative functions including distributing mail, ordering, and stocking supplies, answering phones, and greeting visitors
• Assists unit management with clerical tasks in relation to accounting, payroll, receiving, and/or human resources including filing, data entry, record review and maintenance, etc.
• Greets customers, clients, and employees; answers inquiries or directs calls where necessary
• Maintain office memos and informative postings
• Operate technology, systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, personal computers, and MS Office

Qualifications
• Prior administrative experience preferred
• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Requires frequent performance of repetitive motions with hands and/or arms

Title: Front Desk Administrations
Reports to: Camp Manager/Assistant Camp Manager
Level: Hourly
Scope: Supporting the Management team in the general operations of the assigned facility including; Guest services, culinary/kitchen, and housekeeping.
Primary responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
- Greet all incoming clients and employees courteously and professionally upon guest arrival
- Check In all arrivals by distribution and collection of all necessary paperwork for guest registration and room assignment
- Enter all registration information and data entry into the Camp Manager database and other computer programs to check in/out employees and clients
- Perform all required filling and data entry required by Management
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly, pleasant manner. Receive, check, and respond to all reservation inquiry/booking requests received via email and calls.
- Update Menu Boards daily as required
- Take customer payments through POS system and balance petty cash vouchers.
- Provide assistance to CM with the preparation of all documents (signage, staff changes, and correspondence) and reports as required.
- Pick up and drop offs as required
- Shall attend all safety meetings and participate in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response Procedures
- Additional duties may be assigned
Physical Demands Requirements: (Must be able to)
- Sit and/or stand for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
- Short and long distance walking required
- Use force when push/pull carts weighing an average of 22.5 kg
- Frequently lift an average weight of approximately 12kg with a maximum of 16kg. On occasion where weight may be greater than 16kg assistance from another person or a manual lifting aid is mandatory.
- Frequently reach below waist, waist to shoulder and above shoulder with frequent neck/back/torso twisting from left to right without restriction
- Perform repetitive movements at the wrist including side to side/up or down and multiple grasps of an average 5kg with a maximum of 10kg. Simple, power and fine finger manipulation for duration of scheduled shift
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms
- Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English
- Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels
- Mainly indoor work required however some outdoor work on occasion
- Ability to work and navigate safely in close quarters and congested areas
- Ability to balance and maintain stability on slippery surfaces
- Ability to work shifts within a rotational schedule
- Maybe exposed periodically to elevated noise levels and surroundings
Candidate Requirements:
- 1+ years Administrative experience preferably in hotel/hospitality industries
- Valid WHMIS Certification is mandatory, Food Safe Basic and First Aid Certifications are an asset
- Additional certification may be required by work location
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of computers, Microsoft software, Camp Manager, and/or POS programs is mandatory
- Strong with prioritization and time management
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
