Job Description
Aramark is hiring a full-time Manager for our Starbucks location at Queen’s University. The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing beverage and dining solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. Oversees and manages Aramark operations where customers order beverages and prepared foods from a menu. As a Starbucks leader you are driven by a deep sense of purpose. Job Responsibilities
• Oversees the Starbucks and Aramark standards of services
• Follows the Operational Excellence fundamentals by maintaining food and labour initiatives
• Ensures individual and team is trained, and their performance meets objective and client expectations
• Brings value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management
• Plans, directs, and coordinates food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
• Supervises the team regarding production, quality and control
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patrons and employees

Qualifications
• Previous experience working at Starbucks is required
• 1-3 years previous food service management experience is preferred
• Experience in directing the work of others as per job duties and business requirements
• Ability to act with a ‘Customer comes first attitude’ to meet and exceed expectations
• Effective oral communication skills and knowledge of the retail environment
• Maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff and patrons
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Candidate must pass a standard Criminal Background Check satisfactory to Aramark Canada
