Title:  Catering Delivery Driver

Job Description

We are currently seeking a  part-time Catering Delivery Driver to join our team and help us provide exceptional service to our customers!  The position is within  our catering department at Queens Hospitality Services for Aramark Canada.

The main responsibility is to be accurate, efficient, and provide safe delivery of customer orders

The successful candidate is responsible for driving a company vehicle within an established route on campus and delivering goods and products to various  locations.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Drive truck to transport product, both on and off campus (catering purposes only)
• Supporting locations on campus with items required for business
• Delivery in a timely manner to locations
• Preparing, loading, unloading, and operating the delivery modes of transportation
• Temperature checks for goods being transported
• Daily vehicle inspection required and recorded
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
• Supports stores/receiver person with tasks when not transporting items on campus
• Casual catering set-ups and follow catering standards
• Follow truck schedule provided by the department
• Daily sign off on paperwork dealing with temperatures, vehicle checks, cleaning
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by Executive Chef/Manager

Qualifications

•    Must possess a valid driver’s license
•    Previous experience as a driver preferred
•    Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
