The Pantry Coordinator is the main point of contact for Premium Suites Staff for all Event Day service operations. This role is INTEGRAL to the team as it is primarily focused within the suite pantry keeping an accurate account for all food, beverages, and supplies that enter and exit the pantry. The main responsibilities will include:

Job Responsibilities

PRIOR TO THE EVENT (on event day {2hrs prior to doors)

 

· Complete all fridge/freezer temperature checks

· Ensure all Health & Safety supplies are stocked and meet compliance standards (is. Soap/hot water working, staff drinks all kept in one small fridge – not spread everywhere)

· Checking in with Management for event details and tasks

· Retrieving all production reports to distribute accordingly for prep & set up

· Overseeing the Runners setup duties to ensure the operation is executed smoothly.

· Check on any late orders submitted and ensure they are completed in a timely manner

· Assist with any suite setups required

· Assist with the delivery of hot and cold food & ensure temperature logs have been completed

· ON EVENT DAY - WORK WITH FOH SUPERVISOR AND GATHER ALL SUITE STAFF FOR A SAFETY BRIEFING & EVENT DETAILS FOR THE DAY PRIOR TO DOORS OPENING

 

 

DURING THE EVENT

 

· Ensure all pre-ordered food is delivered on time

· Take food and beverage orders from the Pantry Admin as they print up in the pantry

· Distribute suite beverage orders to Runners to accurately fill and deliver to the suites in a timely manner

· Manage Dessert distribution and ensure it is fully set and ready approximately 1 hour into the event. Make sure all desserts are labelled appropriately with all known dietary restrictions

· Communicate with the FOH Supervisor and Manager during the event with any revisions or other pertinent notes and details that everyone should be made aware of.

· Assign closing tasks to Runners in preparation for end of event clean up.

 

 

FOLLOWING THE EVENT

 

· Clean and organize the pantry for the next event

· Distribute restock forms to Runners to fill and drop off to Suite Attendant to put away

· Assist with closing inventory of any Service bar and ensure everything is locked away. Garbage in suites will be collected by housekeeping. Do not pull garbage out of the bins and leave them in the hallways at any time during the event.

· Pantry garbage is to be collected and can be left outside the pantry door after all guests have left.

· All sinks to be emptied and rinsed.

Additional duties may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience. 

  • Current Certifications as needed 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75.
