Are you self-motivated and proud of the work you do? We are looking for a food service worker responsible for preparing and serving food , maintaining cleanliness and sanitation , assisting customers and ensuring food safety standards are followed all in a friendly manner.

Job Responsibilities

1. • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
   • Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
   • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
   • Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining areas, equipment, and workstations.
   • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
   • Check food quality, freshness, and proper temperatures.
   • Store and label food properly.
   • Restock food, beverages, and supplies.
   • Operate kitchen and food service equipment safely.
   • Handle cash and process customer payments when required.
   • Dispose of garbage and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
   • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other duties as needed.
   • Follow health and safety regulations and workplace policies.
   • Work effectively as part of a team.

    
    
    

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
• Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, or kitchen experience is an asset.
• Food Handler or Food Safety certification is an asset.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
