Are you self-motivated and proud of the work you do? Here at TRU Food Services, we take pride in the level of service and quality food and beverages we provide to the campus community. We are currently looking to hire Food Service Workers at the following locations: Subway & The U&M Deli.

Monday availability is a MUST HAVE

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.  

Job Responsibilities

• Operates a register and handles cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assists customers while anticipating their needs.
• Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co- workers, etc.
• Ensure the tidiness and organization of location.
• Prepares a variety of food and beverages according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Ensures security of company assets
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including evening and weekends
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage is preferred.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
