Calling all customer service experts! How would you like to join the team at one of the most celebrated franchise locations in the HRM? 

We are seeking Team Members to join the team at the Tim Horton's on the Saint Mary's University campus! Reporting to the Supervisor, Tim Horton's Team Members are responsible for providing superior customer service, quality beverages and products, while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our valued guests - the students, staff, and faculty of Saint Mary's University. 

This is a union position with SEIU Local 2. We are seeking full-time and part-time. Job Responsibilities

• Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Prepare made to order food items
• Follows Tim Horton's operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
• Assist other members of the team when needed
• Light cash handling duties including processing guest transactions, counting cash, closing/opening registers, participating in cash audits
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Keep area clean at all times; manage waste
• May perform other job duties as required

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience working in the food and beverage industry
• Experience working for Tim Horton's franchise considered an asset
• Serve Safe and First Aid an asset
• Must be flexible as evening and weekend work may be required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
