Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Production Analyst is responsible for ensuring that food production meets all standards set out by the company, food industry, and/or government regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all employees and management have necessary Daily Production information and are supported with other necessary food production documentation including Temperature Logs, Cooling Logs, Cooking & Reheating Logs, and Sanitizer Logs.
  • Assist Residence Dining Chef in conducting audits of Food Production to ensure compliance and identify areas where improvements are needed and develop solutions alongside the Executive Chef and Food Service Managers.
  • Support Executive Chef with maintaining purchasing standards and compliance.
  • Assist Residence Dining Chef in monitoring compliance of Food Production and Food Safety standards in accordance with company, provincial and federal regulations.
  • Maintain tracking system for all Food Production documentation in accordance with company, provincial and federal regulations.
  • Provide support when needed to Food Service Managers in maintaining tracking for Food Safety documentation in accordance with company, provincial and federal regulations.
  • Provide training to team members on food production processes and procedures.

Perform other tasks as outlined or requested by management while adhering to company, provincial and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Food Service environment; previous experience in a similar role is an asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
