Reporting to the Director of Sustainability and Engagement, the Customer Experience Representative is responsible for ensuring the customer experience at Dalhousie food service always slays!

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring hospitality Service Excellence program, Aramark’s framework for outstanding guest and employee experience is followed in location
- Creates a positive professional relationship with guests
- Provides coaching to other employees to ensure that the best possible guest experience through the delivery of Aramark’s Service Excellence is provided
- In partnership with the marketing team and operations manager, addresses guest feedback to ensure service standards are not only met but exceeded
- Acts as Aramark’s on- site cheerleader for hospitality focused service excellence.
- Regularly attends employee huddle meetings promoting Service Excellence and hospitality culture that build engagement and morale
- Works with the management team to plan, facilitate, and implement frequent guest and client engagement activities.
- Creates and establishes best practices within the location
- Ensures all materials to guests, employees and client are hospitality focused
- Additional duties may be assigned
Qualifications
- Post secondary education in hospitality considered an asset
- Ability to remain active and engaged for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform tasks that may require sustained physical activity.
- Ability to speak multiple languages considered an asset
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Passionate about engaging guests
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in customer service role considered an asset
- Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset.
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
- Must be able to lift, push, pull min. 35 lbs
