Overview
Aramark Canada is looking to speak with experienced FOOD SERVICE leaders in the GTA. This account requires exceptional candidates, who have high volume, multi-unit management experience. This role will direct a team of between 5 - 8 managers in overseeing multiple outlets, from national franchise brands to large dining halls. Annual top line sales vary from $12 - $15M. Must have superior interpersonal skills, to influence stakeholders at the client level, as well as inspire the entire operations team.
Reporting to the District Manager, the Resident District Manager will oversee the daily food service of multiple outlets spread across a campus. You will be responsible for the profitable management of these services under contract with the Client.
Responsibilities include - interaction with the client, customers and employees and providing vision to growing the business while exemplifying excellent leadership.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all operating standards are achieved
- Grow catering business through marketing initiatives
- Assist front line managers with any operational and staffing issues
- Train, develop and mentor the management team and establish succession plans
- Ensure that standards for sanitation and food safety are met
- Assist in menu planning
- Prepare business plans, budgets and forecasts
- Monitor financial operating results in order to achieve company and client objectives
- Develop new initiatives and programs to improve sales and customer satisfaction
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for all business sectors
- Maintain records to comply with Aramark, and government standards
- Ensure compliance with Marketing and Human Resources Programs

Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma in Hospitality management or related field would be preferred
- Successfully demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity, managing a staff of direct reports between 7 - 12 while overseeing a staff of 100-150 employees
- Minimum 5 years progressive management experience in a multi-unit and similar sized operation
- Experience working in a unionized environment would be a definite asset
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, project planning, and excellent financial management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff
- All applicants will be required to complete a security clearance
