Job Description
ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services are hiring for Front Desk Clerk for a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by assisting with guest needs, booking reservations, act as a point of reference for guests who need information and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. Responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation. Organization and good time management skills are a must.
This is a dual role supervising the Housekeeping and Front Desk Teams. Part of each rotation will be working in both capacities and full duties may be adjusted accordingly.
Comprehensive benefit packages are offered.
Transportation is provided out of Edmonton, AB to site.
Rotation are 20 days on/10 days off.
Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check.

Job Responsibilities

Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture.

Train employees to Aramark standards.Supervise housekeeping and front desk staff.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to the Manager.
- Oversee workload assignments and ensure equitable distribution.
- Conduct inspections of accommodations, living areas, and room readiness.
- Monitor room inventory and coordinate housekeeping and janitorial inventory requirements.
- Lead toolbox meetings focused on safety, hospitality, and guest service.
- Address guest concerns, escalating issues as required.
- Support front desk operations during peak periods.
- Participate in safety meetings and emergency response procedures.
- Deliver exceptional service to guests and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms

Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English

Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels
