Aramark is seeking a Lead General Helper for the food service operations at the camp.

Position: Lead General Helper

Location: Valcartier Military Base

Salary: $19.75 (based on experience)

Schedule: To be discussed during the interview — full-time and part‑time positions available.

Employment Start Date: June–July–August (summer season)

Public transportation does not reach the base. Candidates must plan their own transportation to the military base. Carpooling may be possible once hired.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise general helpers
• Coordinate breaks and lunch periods
• Ensure tasks are completed as required
• Take attendance
• Anticipate and support operational needs
• Provide replacements when necessary
• Greet customers and offer excellent customer service
• Follow all established safety regulations
• Perform any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Experience as a general helper or team lead (an asset)
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Customer service–oriented
• Ability to meet operational needs

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and, when required, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with us will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.Applicants must be 18 years or older
