Job Description
ARAMARK Remote Workplace Services is looking to hire an experienced On-Site Linen Driver / Driver candidates to join our Janitorial Team at our Lodge near Cochrane, Northern ON. The On Site Linen Driver / Janitor will be responsible for picking up and dropping off linen at the remote lodge site and complete janitorial duties as assigned.

- Transportation is provided out of Timmins or Cochrane, ON
- Travel Allowance is available for some areas that are further away.
- Rotations are 14 days on site/14 days off site
- An Ontario license is required ( G2 or G is acceptable)
Please note all candidates considered for hire will be required to successfully pass a pre-employment D&A test and criminal background check
Job Responsibilities
- Accountable and responsible for maintaining a culture focused on having Safety as a value
- Attend all safety meetings, comply with all safety expectations, and participate in Client / Aramark Emergency Response Procedure
- Collect dirty linen around camp
- Deliver line to allocate spots in lodge
- Collect garbage around lodge
- Clean and maintain vehicle, including completing daily circle checks of vehicle
- Empty cigarette receptacles
- Help lodges with catering and coffee deliveries as needed
- Clean gym two times a week
- All other duties as assigned
Physical Demands Requirements (Must be able to):
- Stand and squat for long periods of time (average 10 hours) with scheduled breaks
- Short and long-distance walking required
- Must be able to crouch, bend neck, back, and torso from waist to floor, and must be able to twist from left to right without restriction
- Frequently lift an average weight of approximately 10kg with a maximum of 18.5kg. On occasion where weight may be greater than 18.5 kg assistance from another person or a manual lifting aid is mandatory
- Perform repetitive movements at the wrist including side to side/up or down and multiple grasps of an average 5kg with a maximum of 10kg. Simple, power, and fine finger manipulation for duration of an average 10-hour shift
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must have a full valid driver license and provide drivers abstract
- Must always wear PPE, Boots, Cleats, Gloves, Safety glasses, Hard hat and Hi-Viz uniform always
- Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels
- Mainly outdoor work with some in door duties
- Ability to work outdoors in the winter for long periods of time
- Ability to work and navigate safely in close quarters or congested areas

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
