Job Description
Aramark is seeking a dynamic culinary leader to oversee and coordinate a high-impact, $30M+ food service operation. This role is pivotal in driving quality, innovation, and operational excellence across our culinary programs—ensuring every plate reflects our commitment to client satisfaction and Aramark standards. Job Responsibilities
• Assist with Onboarding all Culinary Leadership Roles within Districts
• Roll out of new seasonal and catering menus – as required
• Ensure seasonal menus meet Aramark budgeted Food PRD
• Development and Track of events (REK, National Themed, Tabling and Client requested)
• Lead and Support rollout & execution of all Culinary Programs – Prima, Enable, Waste Tracking, Inventory, Expense Budget Tool (EBT)
• Auditing and Track all locations eg. Food Safety, Steritech, Food Management Fundamentals (5Ps)
• Ensure and track all Food safety training, Food Service OH&S specific training, ADV.fst
• Support execution of locations Catering events and functions
• Develop standardized Catering program for client groups
• Develop Retail menus and ensure accurate and annual pricing as required
• Attend Family and Resident Council meetings, Dining Committee
• Ensure sites achieve Food Purchasing Compliance L0, L1, L2 fiscal targets across all locations
• Implement and monitor Aramark Senior Living Culinary program compliance
• Support Proformas for culinary programs and concepts
• Assist Hospitality Excellence in tracking, monitoring and analyzing Food, Labor and Direct cost performance
• Develop, maintain and present Client KPI Dashboards.
• Work with REM on developing Resident/Family Satisfaction survey CQI plan.
• Participate in the development and delivery of Client Business Review presentation, Newsletters and Reports
• Cover if and when required for management team
Qualifications
Must have:
• Strong culinary background
• 5-10yrs Culinary industry experience
• Red Seal Chef or equivalent/ formal Culinary training
• A passion for service and quality
• Good people management skills
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent food preparation and presentation skills
• Professionalism and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business
• Hands-on operator with the ability to lead by example through operational excellence
• An excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
• Ability to travel to sites in Alberta and British Columbia
• Valid driver’s license & Reliable vehicle

• Understanding of profit and loss account management, budget management
• Ability to suggest and implement improvements and positive changes
• Experience working in Healthcare environment
