ARAMARK is currently seeking a Cook for the food service department at École Rive-Nord.

Position: Cook 

Location : École Rive-Nord (400 Rue Joseph Paquette, Bois-des-Filion, QC J6Z 4P7)

Salary: Starting at $22.00 per hour, based on experience. To be discussed during the interview.

Schedule / Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (following the school calendar)

Start date : Immediate

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Perform daily food preparation and setup (mise en place).
• Participating in inventory counts.
• Assist with meal service.
• Operate the cash register as required.
• Reconcile cash registers and sales records.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of three employees under their supervision.
• Complete production, temperature, waste, and other required records.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is considered an asset.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak service periods.
• Experience with the Expério cash register system is an asset.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (where required by the operation). If hired, employment with Aramark will be conditional upon Aramark being satisfied that both requirements have been successfully met.
