ARAMARK is Hiring a Housekeeper for Manic-5

Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off work rotation.

Employees are provided with meals and private accommodation, as well as access to on-site washer and dryer facilities.

Aramark also offers a transportation allowance and some of the most competitive group insurance benefits in the industry.

Candidates must reside in Baie-Comeau or the surrounding area.

Position: Housekeeper

Location: Manic-5

Wage: $21.59/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Clean kitchens, buildings, and common areas.
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the camp facilities.
• Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Carry out various cleaning and housekeeping tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment that promotes the health and safety of others.
• Clean assigned areas in accordance with Aramark standards and client requirements.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be versatile and adaptable.
• Previous experience in a remote camp setting is considered an asset.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and basic precautions when working around physical hazards and hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills; courteous, reliable, and team oriented.
• WHMIS certification is considered an asset.
• Must be able to meet operational requirements.

Background Check Requirement

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector screening. Employment with Aramark is conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
