ARAMARK is Hiring General Helpers / Dishwashers for Manic-5

Aramark offers 14 days on / 14 days off rotational work schedule.

Employees are provided with meals and accommodation in a private room, as well as access to washer and dryer facilities.

Candidates must reside in Baie-Comeau or the surrounding area.

Position: General Helper / Dishwasher

Location: Manic-5

Wage: $21.59 per hour

Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off

Job Responsibilities

• Wash, transport, and properly store dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties according to established standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with ordering and receiving products and supplies.
• Refill and restock workstations as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and surrounding spaces.
• Always follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform any other related duties required to support operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a remote camp environment is considered an asset.
• MAPAQ certification is considered an asset.
• Ability to meet operational requirements and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety programs.
• Always adhere to all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Perform other related tasks as required to support operations.

• Good physical ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Positive and professional attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently.

Background Check Requirement

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background check and, where applicable, a vulnerable sector background check. Employment with Aramark will be conditional upon results deemed satisfactory by Aramark.
