Aramark is seeking a Dietician to join the team at Brigadoon Village, 1650 North River Road in Aylesford. Reporting to the Food Service Director, the Dietician will work with the Food Service Director, culinary and front line team to ensure our product meets the diverse dietary needs of each of our Campers. 

This is a full time contract position for June, July and August.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Counsel Campers on healthy eating habits, and monitor nutritional status to improve quality of life at Brigadoon Village
• Monitor food service operations to ensure adherence to nutritional safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Provide food safety training to front line and culinary teams
• Complete monthly Workplace Inspections and Food Safety Audits 
• Coordinate health related training and in-services for Brigadoon Village community
• Utilize assessment and evaluation techniques that consider the varied needs of age-specific populations as well as cultural, religious, and ethnic concerns
• Accountable for the proper use of protected health information
• Work with subject matter experts on a variety of topics and translate that information into captivating and concrete storytelling, enhancing brand awareness and engagement

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
• Licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing with NSDA
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite required
• Certified in Advanced Food Safety an asset
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; flexibility to meet unanticipated changes to work demands
• Superior interpersonal skills; ability to managing relationships effectively
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team to meet organizational objectives
• Demonstrated credibility and discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information
• Available to work evenings and/or weekends as required
• Position may involve light lifting, prolonged periods of sitting, and exposure to florescent lighting
